The disappearing Web: Decay is eating our history 

Researchers studying new media have discovered something that digital archivists have known for some time: Content - whether it be news articles, blog posts, comments, or social media status updates - is disappearing from the Internet at a fairly alarming rate. That means our history is vanishing not long after it’s been made.
